Paul Stortz, an associate professor with the Department of History, and E. Lisa Panayotidis (Weklund School of Education) have produced a new edited collection entitled Women in Higher Education, 1850-1970: International Perspectives. More »


Kudos to John Reid, instructor of music for the School of Creative and Performing Arts) who has been asked to chair the National Flute Association's Jazz Committee for a four-year term starting in November 2015. This summer Reid was one of 25 winners of the NFA's Jazz Flute Big Band competition for the NFA convention in Washington, DC. He was selected as one of 12 soloists and one of the five performers in the Doubling Clinic (sax, flute and clarinet).
