Alistair MacLeodAlistair MacLeod is the author of the much-celebrated novel, No Great Mischief. Nominated for every major Canadian literary award, No Great Mischief won a Trillium Award for Fiction, a Dartmouth Book Award for Fiction and a Raddall Award For Fiction. No Great Mischief also took the 2001 International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, the world's richest literary prize, worth $172,000 (Cdn). MacLeod is the only Canadian writer ever to have two books on the Globe and Mail's top ten fiction bestseller list at the same time.
