Evacuation drills scheduled for campus >>

As part of our efforts to support a safe campus environment, the university will be carrying out evacuation drills from Sept. 19–29 in campus buildings as part of our annual emergency preparedness training.

Please download the UC Emergency app for a complete schedule of building evacuation dates and times or visit the Emergency Management website.

If you are in a building scheduled to be evacuated, please plan for a 30-minute disruption and know:

  1. Your primary and secondary exits
  2. Your evacuation procedure
  3. The assembly point for your building (designated to provide a safe area with shelter, appropriate facilities for large numbers of people and communication on the status of the event)

If you are teaching, please assist your students in routing to the appropriate exit and assembly point.

Building evacuation exercises will be conducted twice per day, at 9:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and at 9:15 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.

Alert - ST 147 and adjacent corridor temporarily closed
