Travel out of the classroom for valuable first-hand knowledge.

Field schools take you out of the classroom and into the field for direct, relevant experience.

You might travel overseas to experience food culture in Spain, study the Black Howler Monkey in Belize, learn about African history, culture and politics in Ghana or join an archaeological dig right in Calgary's own backyard on the Tsuu T'ina Native Reserve.

The best way to find a field school is by browsing the websites of departments and programs at the Faculty of Arts that interest you.
