A private American subscription service for grant information. A trial version is available online.

- Alfred P. Sloan Foundation (USA)
Nonprofit philanthropic foundation established in 1934 which supports social science research on a wide variety of social, civic, and educational issues.
- Dana Foundation (USA)
Research grants for research on brain-body interaction and the clinical and preventative aspects of neurological disorders.
- Guggenheim Memorial Foundation (USA)
Charitable foundation which supports research endeavours of advanced professionals in the natural and social sciences, humanities, and creative arts (excepting performance). Two annual grant competitions are held, one for applicants from the United States and Canada, and another for Latin America and the Caribbean.
- J. Paul Getty Foundation (USA)
Charitable foundation funding research which promotes conservation of the world‘s cultural heritage and research on the history of art and the humanities.
- Leakey Foundation
San Francisco-based foundation and granting agency whose mission is to increase scientific knowledge and public understanding of human origins and evolution.
- MacArthur Foundation (USA)
A Chicago-based charitable trust which runs a research and community-university partnership grant programs in the areas of human and community development and global security and sustainability.
- National Geographic Society (USA)
Through its Committee for Research and Exploration, the NGS administers research grants for projects which must have a geographical dimension and be of broad scientific interest.
- National Endowment for the Humanities (USA)
NEH is an independent grant-making agency of the United States government dedicated to supporting research, education, preservation, and public programs in the humanities.
