Congratulations to author and drama professor Clem Martini (School of Creative and Performing Arts) who received the ATB Financial Healing Through the Arts Award at the annual Mayor's Lunch For Arts Champions event on March 16. A number of Faculty of Arts alumni also received the Cultural Leaders Legacy Artist Awards. These included Anton de Groot (BFA'04), Decidedly Jazz Danceworks founder Vicki Adams Willis (BFA'72), Swallow-A-Bicycle Theatre's Mark Hopkins (BA'05), and Peter Hemminger (BComm'05, MA'13) from the Quickdraw Animation Society. 

Congratulations to MA graduate student in the Department of Political Science Nidhi Panwar who has won the Shastri Student Internship Project in Aid Award from the governments of Canada and India. 

Kudos to women's studies undergraduate Emily Leedham who is receiving the Women's Resource Centre Distinguished Undergraduate Student Award at a ceremony this Saturday. More »
