Arts Co-op Orientation

Date & Time:
November 22, 2017 | 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

This workshop is for all students recently accepted to the Arts Co-op program (those who applied Oct 15, 2017).  In the workshop, you will be provided with an overview of Co-op including an introduction to the resources available to you as a Co-op student.  An outline will be provided of the workshops, and how to connect with your Co-op Coordinator.

If you are unable to attend the Orientation due to class time conflicts, you will be added to Pre-work and Orientation course on D2L where you can view and listen to the audio-visual slides and complete a quiz.  We highly recommend a follow up meeting with your Co-op Coordinator after completing the online session (this may be coordinated with a resume review).

The following workshops will be posted to the Arts Co-op portal on CareerLink for registration: Resume/Cover Letter, Job Search & Networking, Interviews & Interview Practice.  Once you are added to this portal, you will be able to view Co-op positions, events and book appointments with your Co-op Coordinator.  You will need to attend the resume/cover letter workshop and complete a Co-op formatted resume and cover letter to be approved by your Co-op Coordinator prior to applying for Co-op opportunities.
