Travel out of the classroom for valuable first-hand knowledge.

Field schools take you out of the classroom and into the field for direct, relevant experience.

You might travel overseas to experience Japanese culture in Tokyo, study the Black Howler Monkey in Belize, learn about ancient and modern urban environments in Greece and Italy, or join an archaeological dig right here in Southern Alberta, working on a site near Blackfoot Crossing on Siksika Nation territory.

The best way to find a field school is by browsing the websites of departments and programs at the Faculty of Arts that interest you.
