The Unversity of Calgary is a young and vibrant campus community, and the Faculty of Arts is a big part of the university.  We can’t wait for you to be part of it.

The application process can seem a bit daunting, but we'll help you through it. Generally speaking, here are the steps you need to take to apply for an undergraduate program at the Faculty of Arts:

  1. Take time to browse programs you might like to take, flip through our undergraduate viewbook and the university academic calendar for detailed information, check program requirements, learn more about student life, and see why the Faculty of Arts is a great place to be.

  2. Questions? Visit the academic advising page and talk with an academic advisor to help understand all the things you can do at the University of Calgary.

  3. Decision made.

  4. Apply. To apply to the Faculty of Arts, you must do so through the University of Calgary’s general admissions office (see links below).

  5. Once you’ve applied and have been accepted, book an appointment with an academic advisor, who will help you plan all the details of your degree, from which courses to take when, to how to declare a major/minor.

  6. Read about your program in the university’s academic calendar prior to your appointment so you don’t miss any important details.

  7. Congratulations! You’re ready to begin a great journey.
