Research Services provides advice and assistance with sponsored research, grants and contracts for research and scholarly activities, and help on University policy, procedures and requirements. Research Services also provides information regarding the interpretation and application of the University's Intellectual Property policy.

Research Ethics Board

The University of Calgary has two research ethics boards, three animal care committees, and a biosafety committee. All research, funded or unfunded, involving humans, animals or biohazards must first be reviewed by and receive approval from the appropriate board or committee before research can begin.

Integrated Services Centre

The Centre has Service Agents available to provide walk up assistance for training staff and faculty in the areas of Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Research Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and IRISS. No appointment is necessary.
