Alexander Hill gives keynote address at Military History Conference

On 13-14 November Alexander Hill attended and gave the keynote lecture at a conference on 'Military History and Eastern European Studies' at the Bundeswehr Centre for History and the Social Sciences in Potsdam, Germany. His lecture concerned the importance of an appreciation for the wider cultural history of Russia for understanding Russian and Soviet military history.
