CMF Graduate Student Conference 2025

On May 1 - 2, 2025 the CMF graduate student conference hosted approximately 40 student researchers and volunteers from across North America, welcoming attendees from as far away as New York State and Nova Scotia. The thoughtful presentations ranged across topics including myth, human connection, health studies and more, with media as the connecting thread. The conference included a Visual Research Gallery where participants could interact with the research creators, a free book table to help early scholars build their library with books donated from the CMF faculty,  a friendship bracelet station for casual networking and creating, a research roundtable on departmental podcasting, and PhD mentorship for five undergraduates planning to attend grad school.
