BFA Dance

The BFA Dance degree will prepare you to deeply engage with all aspects of dance performance and creation experience. Pursue a career as a performing artist with highly developed physical and artistic skills in contemporary dance, engage in the creative process as an emerging professional choreographer, or work as an artistic director.

BA Dance

The BA Dance degree enables you to apply your passion for dance to a wide range of career paths in the dance industry, educational institutions, and community organizations.

The BA Dance with a concentration in Dance Pedagogy will prepare you to teach dance to multiple populations—pre-schoolers, children, youth, adults, and seniors—and in various locations: private studios, public schools, and community programs.

The BA Dance with a concentration in Dance Production will prepare you for a professional career in the dance production industry. Start your own dance company, work on the management or production teams of established companies, or pursue jobs in production, management, and audience facilitation in dance companies, dance studios, dance festivals, community and cultural organizations, and dance service organizations, as well as major foundations or funding bodies.
