“…when you fish for the glory you catch the darkness too. That if you hook twice the glory you hook twice the fear.”

The School of Creative and Performing Arts is thrilled to present a concert performance of selections from the music drama by William Jordan, based on the 1959 novel by local author Sheila Watson. Rich and dense with allusion, Watson's novel paints a bleak and beautiful picture of the William's Lake region of British Columbia.

Special pre-show Artist Talk with Music faculty Patricia Hrynkiw: 7:30-7:45 p.m. in the Husky Great Hall (Eckhart-Gramatté Hall lobby)

Laura Hynes, Julie Harris, Timothy Shantz, Paul Grindlay, Liesel Fedkenheuer, Jacqui Lynn Fidlar, Donovan Seidle, Adam Brousseau, Catherine Brown, Timothy Carter, Cheryl Emery-Karapita, Jean-Louis Bleau

A benefit concert for BC wildfire relief

This is a Claim Your Seat event, which means students can get in for free when they show their University of Calgary I.D. card at the door.
