Intro to Puppetry!
As a part of a directed study in puppetry, graduate directing student Randi Edmundson is developing a 4 hour Intro to Puppetry workshop.
Designed as a crash course in puppetry basics, the workshop will introduce the emerging performer, designer, or enthusiast to philosophy, technique, and application of puppetry in live performance.
Two cohorts of up to 8 people will be selected to participate in the workshop. There will be two sessions, Nov 14th and Nov 17th, with different participants in each workshop.
When and where:
Session A: Nov 14th 5-9pm
Session B: Nov 17th 5-9pm
Location TBD in Craigie Hall.
*Please note that each session will involve different participants. To participate, you only need to be available for one session.
Send an email with a short note about what is interesting to you about puppetry and why you want to learn more to Randi at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please also note whether you would like to participate in Session A or Session B.
