Protocols for Reeve Primary, Secondary and F.R. Matthews Theatre

Entrance and Exit – some rooms have 2 doors.  Please note which one is the Entrance and which the Exit.  Please be mindful of people entering and exiting a room.  Please let people exit a room before you enter.   

Hand Sanitizing – inside classrooms and in the hallways there are wall stations with hand sanitizer.  Please disinfect your hands with the sanitizer every time you enter and exit a room. We also recommend that everyone bring in their own hand sanitizer to use while moving about on campus. 

Wipes – Inside each room there are a container of wipes.  Please use them to wipe down all the touch points (ex. Light switches, door handles, etc.) as well as any chairs and equipment (chairs, desks, music stands, rehearsal boxes, etc.) that you use.  You are responsible for wiping down items before you start using them and when you are finished using them. 

Daily Cleaning – At the end of each day the room will be cleaned and disinfected by the University's cleaning staff. 

Shared Space – Our rooms are all shared spaces.  Please be diligent in your tidy up and disinfecting procedures.  If the other occupants of the space are not restoring the room to a neutral tidy state please email scpa@ucalgary.ca.

Please clean up after yourselves and use the receptacles in the hallways for garbage and recycling. 

Please be aware that the university's COVID-19 procedures are ever evolving as the situation changes.  Some of the instructions above may need to be modified as the situation develops.  We will do our best to keep you up to date.  We thank you for your understanding.
