Professor published in Healthcare Management Forum
Professor Lorian Hardcastle has co-authored an article in the journal "Healthcare Management Forum."
"Virtual care: Enhancing access or harming care?" examines some of the benefits and drawbacks of the increased use of virtual care as a result of the global COVID-19 pandemic. Lorian and her co-author Ubaka Ogbogu analyze virtual care models in Canada and argue that although they can improve access to health services, policy-makers must approach them with caution due to quality of care and privacy issues.
