Biography
In terms of research, I am interested in the sociology of knowledge as it pertains to contemporary and historical pain medicine and research. My master's thesis, Psy-Knowledge and the Problem of 'Pain Without Lesion,' examined the major ways in which the mind was incorporated into the treatment and understanding of lesionless pain from 1895-1995.
I have served as a TA in the following courses:
