About
The Chair of Ethnic Studies engages in scholarship and community outreach intended to advance understanding and engagement in issues related to ethnic relations and immigrant integration in Canada and internationally. The current chairholder conducts academic research on a wide range of issues related to socio-economic experiences of immigrants and refugees in Canada, participates in the relevant community initiatives at the local level, engages with local-to-international media, and offers input for policy decisions related to ethnocultural and migration matters.
