Economics PhD Students Excel at CREEA Conference

Three doctoral students presented research at CREEA Annual Meeting

Three PhD students from the Department of Economics presented their research at the Canadian Resource and Environmental Economics Association (CREEA) Annual Meeting held October 17–18, 2025 in Winnipeg. 

Anil Gogebakan presented "The Role of Energy Efficiency in Productivity: Evidence from Canada," Boyi Yuan presented "Do Gasoline Price Changes Shift Mobility Choices? Evidence from German Walking Behavior," and Mahesh Acharya presented "Wildfire Smoke and Road Accidents: Evidence from Alberta."
