Graduate fees and funding

Before starting your graduate program, make sure you understand your tuition and general fees, and learn about funding available.

Funding

Funding is provided to students through scholarships, teaching assistantships, research assistantships, and for PhD students in the latter years of their program, teaching appointments. In order to be considered for departmental support, students must meet the admission application deadline and apply for all major awards for which they are eligible.

MA students normally receive a minimum of $14,000 per year for two years.
