Greek and Roman Studies
Understand our modern world by investigating some of its oldest foundations. Examine the writings and material remains of the ancient Greeks and Romans, ranging from the evidence of their everyday lives to the masterpieces of classical literature and art.
Religious Studies
Analyze the history, nature, and role of religion in society. Produce new scholarship on world religions. Engage in an open, non-denominational study of the world’s great religious traditions.
Curriculum Renewal
The Faculty of Arts is embarking on an ambitious three-year curriculum renewal process.
This process aligns with the strategic priorities outlined in Ahead of Tomorrow and the Arts Strategic Plan and is informed by the findings of the 2024 Faculty of Arts Unit Review.
Starting for Fall 2025, we will pause admissions to the following programs in the Department of Classics and Religion.
