The annual MFA Thesis Exhibition presents the work of artists from the Department’s graduating Master of Fine Arts class. Through different genre, the artists showcase their research-led creation.
Echoes Within: Fragments of Family, Fable, Memory and Mourning features the work of seven artists from the University of Calgary’s Master of Fine Arts graduating class of 2024. In a series of exhibitions across Calgary, the artists present visual/audial relics of their research and creation, the culmination of years of artistic exploration and growth in a diverse range of disciplines, mediums, techniques and processes.

Distance over Time features the work of ten artists from the University of Calgary’s Master of Fine Arts graduating class of 2023. The 2021 MFA Thesis Exhibition presents the work of eight artists from the University of Calgary’s Graduating Master of Fine Arts class of 2021. Through drawing, mixed media, video, photography, and painting the artists showcases their research-led creation.
