Artist statement

The work in this project explores my mental health in the most recent period of my life. Through this project, I try to bring forward ideas of personal narrative and perspective, and how we view our days. In my experience with anxiety, I essentially saw my days as dark and terrifying to an extent. The work is a collection of 13 photos that aim to depict a daily routine through anxiety, with general locational photographs. such as the grocery store, or the constructions site down the street where anxiety may be heightened or experienced, contrasted with more abstract photos intended to visualize the experience.
