Areas of Research
Exercise therapy is a key component to physiotherapy treatment following MSK injury, but adherence to exercise therapy is crucial to success and linked to clinical outcomes. Ways of boosting adherence to exercise therapy following MSK injury have been examined in adults, however little is known regarding adherence to exercise therapy for youth (age 0-18 years). By identifying ways of boosting adherence to exercise therapy for youth, we hope to maximize clinical outcomes for this population following MSK injury, reduce healthcare costs, and improve overall MSK health for our youth.
