Biography
Hello! I am a master's student with the Melin lab currently studying rhesus macaques in Puerto Rico. My area of interest is microbiomes and microbiome-associated disease. I am investigating ocular and gut microbiome correlations with ocular hypertension in captive and free-ranging rhesus macaque populations. My previous research was on gastrointestinal nematode parasites in capuchin monkeys from Costa Rica. I am also a Registered Nurse working in gyne-oncology.
