At the Faculty of Arts, you’ll take a look at big questions and seek big answers. Are you a curious person who strives to understand dynamic issues? Are you driven to find new ways of thinking? Good. We want you to make an impact.

We are active thinkers and researchers, our work is meaningful to current issues and we are engaged with our local and global communities more than ever.

Climate change. Homelessness. The global economy. Unraveling the intricacies of history and language. These are among the many complex situations facing our society today. The Faculty of Arts is the perfect platform from which to explore these issues in meaningful ways.

Ever wonder what it would be like to be a human rights advocate, an intelligence officer or an environmental consultant? What about an actor, a novelist, or an archaeologist? Do you dream of shaping an organizations’s communications strategy? We’ve got you covered.

An arts degree is one of the most versatile degrees you can earn. During your time with the Faculty of Arts, you’ll learn skills and ways of thinking that you can apply to dozens of different career paths. An arts degree is also the perfect building block to further education like graduate studies, or another professional degree such as law, medicine, veterinary medicine or education.
