Law and Philosophy Meet and Greet: February 7 at the Last Defense Lounge

The Law and Philosophy concentration from the Department of Philosophy is pleased to invite interested students to a meet and greet event on Friday February 7 at the Last Defense Lounge (MSC 350 – 3rd Floor MacEwan Hall). The event will run from 5:00pm - 7:00pm.

Five Speakers from the Calgary legal community will speak and answer questions on their careers and paths through the law.

Our speakers will be:

Sabrina Dueck – Articling with Alberta Justice in the Crown Prosecution Service, JD Calgary 2024

Kathleen Ganley – The MLA for Calgary Mountain View, Graduate of Calgary Law, 2012

Greg Hagen – An associate professor in Law at the University of Calgary, and member of the Law Society of British Columbia

Gabriele Motuz – A partner in the Banking and Finance Group at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP, with a focus on large, multi-national, syndicated financing transactions, Graduate of Calgary Law, 2012

Ryan Zeigler – A Crown attorney with the Rural and Regional Response Office, Calgary
