Philosophy Speakers Series
The Philosophy Department’s Speakers Series presents public lectures – September through April annually – by visiting speakers and faculty on a wide variety of philosophical topics.
The Calgary Mathematics & Philosophy Lecture
Each year, the Department of Philosophy, Department of Mathematics, the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences, and the Faculty of Science co-sponsor the annual Calgary Mathematics and Philosophy Lecture. The lectures aim to introduce topics at the intersection of mathematics and philosophy to a general academic audience. Events are free and open to the public.
For more information, and for links to videos of past lectures, please see the Calgary Mathematics and Philosophy Lectures website.
Philosophy Graduate Student Conference
Each spring a committee of graduate students organizes and hosts this event led by one or two student conference directors and a faculty advisor.
