Master of Science (MSc), thesis-based
Thesis-based programs require that you pursue independent and original research culminating in a thesis. You will work under the supervision of a faculty member whose expertise matches your research area.
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
The aim of this doctoral program is to train research-minded students to become inspiring teachers and insightful professional scholars. In our vibrant department, you will get the access and attention you need from our faculty of internationally recognized scholars.
Psychology research areas
We offer graduate programs leading to both the MSc and PhD degrees in many areas of psychology, with specialized training in three research areas.
Brain and Cognitive Science
The members of the Brain and Cognitive Science research area are interested in the mental processes and brain structures that are involved in movement, perception, learning, memory and understanding language.
Industrial Organizational Psychology
Industrial-Organizational Psychology is concerned with individual behaviour, the behaviour of groups and the relationships of organization-wide variables to individuals and groups in work settings.
Social and Theoretical Psychology
The faculty members with research interests in Social and Theoretical Psychology share an interest in social and cultural relations as well as foundational and philosophical questions in psychology.
