BA/Honours in Political Science
Political science is the study of conflict and cooperation within and between societies. In order to make sense of the political world, political scientists investigate concepts such as justice, liberty, representation and democracy. During the course of your studies, you'll gain statistical analysis skills, research capabilities, written and verbal communication skills and knowledge of the international political community.
Political Science and Bachelor of Education
Get a BA and a BEd within five years. You'll receive two undergraduate degrees and certification through Alberta Education. Be qualified to teach in kindergarten through grade 12 classrooms.
Political Science minor programs
Minor in Political Science
Looking to broaden your degree with courses in Political Science? We welcome students wishing to add Political Science as a Minor to their BA degree. Formally declare a Minor Field and have it officially recorded on your transcript.
Minor in Security Studies
The minor in Security Studies is a multidisciplinary degree option, drawing on selected courses from across the Faculty of Arts and the Department of Computer Science.
International Relations program
Major in International Relations program
Learn how cross-border interactions affect people, states, regions, and the global community. You'll explore a diversity of approaches. Individualized programs allow you to reflect your own interests.
International Indigenous Studies programs
Major in International Indigenous Studies
Examine the experiences, culture, art, and status of Indigenous people. This interdisciplinary combines instruction in both Indigenous and Western worldviews. Enjoy experiential learning and a wide choice of courses. There is no Honours program available in this Major.
Minor in International Indigenous Studies
This minor is open to any other major discipline inside or outside the Faculty of Arts.
