The Office of Continuing Medical Education &Professional Development is currently casting for French speaking presenters (fluent in both French and English) for a medical course that is anchored in human values of equity and inclusiveness. We require one or two presenters to deliver content to the camera from a variety of medical educational topics. Experience with developing content in French and English is a bonus.
We are looking for presenters with an affable personality and excellent people skills, who can deliver content to medical professionals. Members of this audience like engaging communication, don't like to be patronised, and have an advanced knowledge of medical terminology.
Our presenters need to connect with the target audience and make technical information engaging and interesting to watch and listen. Experience isn't necessary but will be taken into consideration. The filming for the video will take place in a staged medical setting or a studio. Presenters will be required to interact with visual graphics and other elements that will be added in the video during editing.
Filming will take place at the University of Calgary in the month of June or July, with possible re-shoots. Pay will be competitive with rates for presenters and calculated as a daily rate with a minimum of a half-day of shooting.
If you are interested in this role, please email Kiyana Madani at email@example.com with your headshots and CV and you will receive instructions to do a screen test. For your screen test, we will need a 2-3 min self-recorded video using sample material provided to you from the course.
