ND Theatre Call for Submissions

Calling all playwrights and directors!

Nickel and Dime Student Theatre would like to say welcome to a new school year, and a new season of shows; our first performance for the year is coming up this October, and we want to work with you!

If you are a student playwright with a play you want to see produced, or you’re looking to hone your directing skills then please email us your 35-40 minute play or your directorial statement of intent (max 300 words) and your availability for October. to ndstudenttheatre@gmail.com

We will accept submissions up to September 30 (Saturday) to be considered. 

This project will run from Oct. 9 – 20 for Rehearsals, Tech, and Performances

What should I send?

Any plays you have! We welcome any genres and willing to help with the vision of your play!

Script Criteria:

• 35 - 40 minutes maximum length
• Feasibility 
  • Limited special effects and costume
• 3 Maximum actors (negotiable; leave us a note in your submission)

what should I send?

All we need is your Statement of Intent (no more then 300 words) and your October availability. Has to be available from Oct 9 to Oct 20 (Rehearsal, Tech, & Run)
