The Associate Dean (Graduate) provides leadership for the Faculty of Arts to advance strategic planning with respect to graduate education. 

She ensures that our graduate students receive the training and skill sets required to be leaders of tomorrow.

  • Support graduate programs in reaching target enrolments through the implementation of efficient recruitment strategies
  • Lead efforts related to graduate academic programs in line with Faculty and University strategic priorities
  • Provide leadership and mentorship towards developing and facilitating graduate scholarship and award workshops
  • Enhance the graduate student experience through the development of equitable and responsible approaches to teaching and research assistantships
  • Create a collaborative community for graduate students within the Faculty of Arts to enhance graduate student teaching and research
  • Liaise with the Faculty of Graduate Studies to promote best practices in supervision and student-supervisor relationships
