Dr. Lindsay Amundsen-Meyer

Dr. Lindsay Amundsen-Meyer’s project team works with Siksika colleagues to create and run archaeological training programs on the Siksika First Nation. The goal of these programs is to increase capacity within the Siksika community to be involved in heritage programs. It recognizes that meaningful relationships between Indigenous and non-indigenous communities are integral to the process of reconciliation and to creating a strong foundation for collaboration, a commitment made in the University of Calgary’s Indigenous strategy (ii’taa’poh’to’p).
