The Associate Dean (Academic) provides leadership for the Faculty of Arts to advance strategic planning with respect to undergraduate education. 

She ensures that undergraduate students receive the training and skills to prepare them for their future academic and professional endeavours.

  • Guide and support departments in reaching their goals for undergraduate enrollment and programs
  • Create and promote realistic measures of success for undergraduate programs
  • Develop criteria for the creation, inventory, and monitoring of undergraduate programs
  • Lead efforts related to undergraduate academic programs in line with Faculty and University strategic priorities
  • Provide leadership towards developing and implementing undergraduate educational programs
  • Coordinate with strategic enrollment planning to provide guidance for the development of new initiatives and programs in accordance with identified Faculty of Arts strengths and priorities
