The associate deans, research provide strategic leadership to elevate the arts faculty's national and international reputation, funding, and impact in research and creation.
Leadership activities include developing, promoting, implementing, and evaluating initiatives that advance these areas.
Amelia Kiddle, PhD
- Primary responsibility for SSHRC and NFRF.
- Facilitating applications, including peer review and support programs with the senior research advisor.
- Developing strategy for faculty research grants and awards with the senior research advisor.
- Support of postdoctoral fellows and mentorship of emerging faculty.
- Developing support for transdisciplinary research in the arts faculty.

Brian Moorman, PhD
- Primary responsibility for NSERC, CIHR, CRC, and CFI.
- Facilitating and reviewing external applications and developing strategy for faculty research grants and fellowships with the senior research advisor, including leading research and faculty development workshops.
- Faculty co-ordinator for Program for Undergraduate Research Experience (PURE).
- Faculty lead for infrastructure development, environment, health and safety, and information technologies.
