Dr. Penelope Farfan Elected to IFTR Executive Committee

Congratulations to Dr. Penelope Farfan, PhD, professor of drama, School of Creative and Performing Arts, on being elected to the Executive Committee of the International Federation for Theatre Research (IFTR).

IFTR is the leading international organization in the field of Theatre Studies, with a large membership from over 40 countries from across continents. Beyond providing a forum for international scholarly exchange, IFTR is committed to the development and mentorship of graduate students and emerging scholars through its hosting of the New Scholars Forum as part of its annual conference. IFTR’s Working Groups are a distinctive feature of the organization, serving to foster the development of new research, international critical exchange, and scholarly publications.
