Dr. Aidan Hollis

Dr. Aidan Hollis’ research relates to developing incentive mechanisms to support pharmaceutical innovation and accessible pricing models for the medicines needed by people in low-income countries. Current models exclude poor people from the medicines that are targeted to their needs. There are two core inequities: poor people suffer from diseases that do not attract research; and medicines treating global diseases are often priced out of reach. He leads a team trying to address these challenges through the Health Impact Fund proposal.
