Dr. Safaneh Mohaghegh Neyshabouri

Dr. Safaneh Mohaghegh Neyshabour’s work focuses on social justice, women, and everyday resistance. She is a published scholar, creative writer, translator, and award-winning teacher. Her work was the centre of a feature-length episode of the CBC Ideas program on Canadian public radio. Prior to moving to Canada and pursuing academia, she was a journalist in Iran and wrote weekly columns on world literature.
