Professor Marie France Forcier

Ms. Marie France Forcier’s research centres on the point of intersection between contemporary choreography, somatic practices, and trauma studies. To promote greater systemic equity, diversity and inclusion in the embodied performing arts, her current primary focus is on producing recommendations for choreographers/devised theatre or embodied live arts directors to maintain emotionally safe practices when engaging their performers in autobiographical sourcing through the making or the performance of a work.
