PhD Candidacy Policies

In accordance with the regulations of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, the new candidacy requirements for both graduate programs in the Department of Classics and Religion, as outlined in the documents listed below, have been reviewed and approved by the FGS Policy committee and are now in effect.

Students admitted before the effective date

Students admitted before the effective date of the program-level candidacy requirements can follow the old or the new requirements to be admitted to candidacy.

Students admitted on or after the effective date

Students admitted on or after the effective date of the program-level candidacy requirements must follow the new requirements to be admitted to candidacy.
