Congratulations Natasha Hoehn!

Hoehn (MA'18) has started a new position as a Research Associate with the O'Brien Institute for Public Health.

Congratulations to alumna 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗮 𝗛𝗼𝗲𝗵𝗻 (𝗠𝗔’𝟭𝟴) who has started a new position as a Research Associate with the O'Brien Institute for Public Health. Hoehn is involved in the Social and Structural Vulnerabilities (SSV) Program, which focuses on addressing systemic inequity that impacts health and wellbeing. Hoehn joins the Social and Structural Vulnerabilities Program with several years of experience in community-based and capacity-building research.

Prior to this role, she worked as the regional coordinator for a national HIV/AIDS research centre, focusing on projects related to social issues experienced by people living with HIV.

In 2018, she completed a Master of Arts degree in with Dr. Warren Wilson as her supervisor. During her graduate education, Hoehn gained experience in global health research in rural Nicaragua, where she collaborated with community-health workers on her thesis project.

She also completed a graduate internship with a capacity-building maternal and child health program in Tanzania. These experiences solidified her belief that collaborative, community-based research has the power to create relevant solutions for complex social problems
