Transdisciplinary Research Collaboratory Grant

This grant is designed to catalyze collaborative, transdisciplinary research/creation projects, broadly understood, which are led by a principal investigator or co-investigators from the Faculty of Arts. The collaboration must be transdisciplinary, with the team members from disciplines outside of the Faculty of Arts. Team members can also include scholars from outside of the University of Calgary, provided they represent disciplines other than those housed in the Faculty of Arts. Team members from non-academic groups may also be included; however, academic collaborators external to the Faculty are required. The team members should not have collaborated previously on externally funded partnership grants. Interdisciplinary Working Group teams within the Calgary Institute for the Humanities (CIH) are eligible to apply.

Up to $15,000 per grant is available.

Potential outcomes can include a future New Frontiers in Research Fund grant application.

The Faculty of Arts encourages applications that reflect the diversity of its research, scholarship, and creative enterprise, and it encourages applicants from equity-deserving groups.
